The "ghost slug" is the world’s longest insect and smallest snake with a pea-sized seahorse shape. It can reach 6 or 7 cm or about 2.5 inches in size due to its flexible body. Though this insect has no eyes and feed itself on earthworms at night using its blade-like teeth. The other unique feature which is found in this slug is its while color.
These are commonly found in Turkey and Georgia however, as far as is currently known, no representatives have been found and described in Western Europe. Although the slug is not harmful to humans, but as a presumed introduced species, more records are being solicited, partly on the basis of an appeal to the public.
